1. Education and work background

Bachelor of laws, Southwest University (formerly, Southwest Normal University) (2004);

Master of Laws in criminal law, Southwest University of Finance and Economics (2006);

Doctor of laws, Southwest University of Finance and Economics (2009);

In 2009, he entered Southwest Jiaotong University to engage in legal education and research, and concurrently served as the Deputy Director of Juris Master Education Center of Southwest Jiaotong University. In 2011, he was approved to be a master supervisor, and was promoted to associate professor in the same year.

2. Part-time positions

Member of the Legal Emergency Expert Group for Post-disaster Reconstruction of Mianzhu area after the “5.12” Wenchuan earthquake;

Deputy Secretary General of Labor and Social Security Law Research Society of Sichuan Law Society;

Standing Council Member of Administrative Law Research Society of Sichuan Law Society;

Council Member of Financial Law Research Society of Sichuan Law Society;

Executive Vice President of Sichuan Pixian (Non-Party) Intellectuals Association

3. Research fields and interests

Criminal law: basic theory of criminal law (Chinese criminal law, economic criminal law, comparative criminal law); Criminal procedure law (juvenile justice system); social (security) law.

4. Main academic achievements

He has successively researched and presided over a number of National Social Science Fund projects, special tasks of Humanities and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of education, and provincial and municipal planning projects of philosophy and social sciences;

He has published many papers inPolitical Science and Law,Criminal Science,Criminal Law Review,Tsinghua Law Review, etc;

He has won the first prize of academic paper selection of “for tomorrow—prevention of juvenile offence and delinquency” project jointly implemented by the Leading Group of the Prevention of Juvenile Offence and Delinquency of the Central Comprehensive Management Commission of the CPC, the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Committee of the CCYL, the second prize of the paper selection of China Pan-Pearl River Delta Cooperation and Development Legal Forum, the second prize for academic paper of China-West Law-based Governance Forum, and the third prize of the 14th Excellent Achievements Award of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Sichuan Province issued by the People’s Government of Sichuan Province.
