On November 15, 2020, the "Ju Heng Cup" Moot Court Competition for Sichuan University Students came to a close in Sierra Leone Campus of Sichuan Normal University. The competition was divided into two stages: judicial document and speech debate. The team of our school won the best book Award, the third place of the team, excellent debater, excellent instructor and other awards after fierce competition.

Sponsored by The Education Department of Sichuan Province, undertaken by Sichuan Normal University and co-organized by Sichuan Mengheng Law Firm, 22 teams from sichuan universities participated in the moot Court Competition. Liu Tao, Chen Yuqing, Shao Yu, Li Xinjie, Chen Meiru and Wang Shaoxue, the undergraduates of The School of Public Administration and Political Science and Law of our school participated in the competition on behalf of our school. Ms. Zhang Qianwen was the team leader, Ms. Zhang Rongrong was the instructor, Associate Professor Deng Juntao, assistant dean of the School of Public Administration and Political Science and Law, and Associate Professor Wei Qiong, director of the Department of Law, accompanied the whole competition.

In judicial documents review stage, students are required to strictly in accordance with the judicial practice in the requirements of making the lawsuit legal documents from both sides, making all the problem of civil indictment, civil defence, and criminal indictment, justification, and list all the evidence. Six judges of Sichuan Higher People's Court acted as judges and awarded two "Best Book Award", among which the judicial documents submitted by our school's representative team were among them, which was the first time for our school's representative team to win this honor.

In rhetoric review stage of the debate, asked the students to the real case adaptation problem is given based on the facts and evidence of, simulate real trial procedures. According to the usual practice, the competition has set up four links, namely the first round, the second round, the semi-final and the final round, with a total of 28 matches.
