According 2014 work plan for School of Public Administration, and scientific development concept. We always focus on the idea of “righteousness of the heart; win-win cooperation; open mind; extensive knowledge; knowledge application" within strengthening external relations and alumni work.

First, continue to improve the organization.

1. to the city (province) as a unit, set up a branch of the alumni for School of Public Administration, Southwest Jiaotong University in areas where are of conditions.

2. by the major, grade, class of the alumni to establish a multi-level network of contacts. At each grade and each class, we should elect a liaison or convener.

Second, to strengthen communication with the alumni and to promote cooperation at work

Chengdu as a pilot, we held alumni working conference to promote mutual interest.

1. Understanding the needs of alumni for our work, including continuing education, intelligence support ;

2. seek alumni support for academic work, including the establishment of a scholarship, an established practice base, employment recommendations, training and so on.

Third, the alumni homecoming reception party

Last year is the 20 years anniversary for the first graduation. Graduation party was held at the school. Such meetings may be the norm in future. To this end, we intend to specialize for reception work.

Fourth, to further strengthen liaison with alumni

1. Visiting distinguished alumni. Use a variety of ways to understand changes in alumni information. For alumni information which is not yet mastered, we must be still mobilizing people looking for it. Continue to enhance the Alumni QQ group management.

2. Further contact alumni extensively and to explore their achievement in occupation

3. collecting, editing and publishing for the “School of Public Administration Alumni Newsletter" encourage alumni to actively contribute it and make efforts to build a harmonious spiritual home for alumni.

Fifth, strengthen the alumni website building

1. constantly improve Alumni Association website and timely upgrade the system and the interface, content.
